How To Grow

Choose a warm, well-drained soil area for optimal growth.

In frost-free areas, sow the seeds directly into the warm soil. Space the seeds 2 per 30cm.

In frost areas, sow seeds indoors in seed trays or 16-cell plug trays about 0.5-0.6cm deep. Allow 3-4 weeks before transplanting. Transplant the seedlings 30cm apart, being careful not to disturb the roots.

Provide sturdy support for the vines to climb.

Protect the cucumbers from slugs.

Once fruit-bearing begins, pick the cucumbers daily.

Harvest the cucumbers when they are still young for tender and flavourful results.
