How To Grow

Direct Sow:

Sow the seeds directly into the desired flowering location, in a sunny spot, away from strong winds. These seeds prefer well-drained and poor soil conditions.

Thin out the seedlings as necessary to provide adequate spacing.

Deadhead the flowers regularly to prolong the flowering season.

Raise Seedlings:

For optimal results in cooler conditions, sow the seeds 0.5cm deep in pots or trays filled with seed compost.

Maintain a gentle warmth of around 16°C and keep the soil moist.

Transplant the seedlings to separate trays for proper spacing once they are large enough to handle (thin/prick out).

Harden off the seedlings before planting them out in late spring. Leave a spacing of 45cm between plants.
